Personality School Portraits

PERSONALITY SCHOOL PORTRAITS IN PHOENIX, AZ

It’s time to say no to the rushed, assembly-line process, forced smiles, and crazy backgrounds in cookie-cutter school photos. And say yes to Personality School Portraits that go beyond the ordinary, capturing a child's unique personality in a timeless masterpiece.

Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I will only take on a few, select schools so that I can provide more attention to each child and family. But that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on professionalism or quality. I believe that a more personal approach would be a better experience for both the school and the families I work with.

I will never force a smile. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child, on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that will remind you all the big personalities your child has.

    Get Prints Delivered

Families will order online and final prints will get delivered right to school front desk.

  • Other than the actual photo session, everything else will be handled online. Families are linked to password-protected online ordering galleries. Galleries are set up according to grade, classroom, or a grouping system which makes sense for the school. Each child will be provided 3-5 images, presented in both color and black and white. The family may chose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I also provide additional a la carte print options and digital images for future printing and archiving. A detailed school photo guide for families describing all ordering procedures and photoshoot day preparation will be provided to each school to be distributed to families prior to photo day.

  • Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school within four weeks of picture day.

  • I provide all equipment for photo day and I will have my own assistant with me.

  • I will provide the school with all high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, school ID's, or however the school wishes to use the images.

  • I will handle any questions from parents and families about ordering and products.

  • I will take staff and class photos depending on the school’s needs.

  • I am willing to work with schools to provide custom services that fit your unique needs. Just let me know what you have in mind and we can have a chat!

School Photo FAQs

  • I usually try to spend around 2-3 minutes with each student just so they can really feel comfortable with being photographed. This is especially important to me when working with younger kids. For older students, I can usually accommodate a larger number.

  • Yes, absolutely! If the school needs class photos I will take them either at the end of the time slot for each class or arrange another time to come and take them.

  • This is by request only. Contact me to discuss details on your school’s specific needs.

  • I have competitive rates for packages and nothing is due up front — you only need to make a decision to purchase after you see the photos. I offer a variety of packages and a-la-carte products to fit everyone's needs. CLICK HERE to see a sample price sheet (*please note, prices are subject to change).

  • I work with each individual school to schedule the photo day any time during school year. For Semester based schools, it is an option to offer a school day for both semesters. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does take around 4 weeks after the photo day for families to order their images and then have the final prints delivered. If you are thinking about scheduling a photo day close to graduation/end of academic year, I would schedule at least 6 weeks prior to the last day of school.
